My Journey: From Young Nurse to Holistic Health Advocate
A Calling That Started Early
I often tell people I’ve been a nurse my entire life—it just became official when I was 18. Nursing wasn’t just a career choice for me; it was a calling, one that was nurtured by my mom. She saw something in me before I ever realized it myself. With her encouragement and passion for helping others, I became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at 18 years of age in 2012. By 2016, I had earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and officially stepped into the role of Registered Nurse (RN).
Since then, my journey has taken me through home health, long-term care, the ICU, PCU, PACU, outpatient surgery, and cardiology. I’ve had the privilege of working with patients in some of the most intense and life-changing moments of their lives. And now, as a travel nurse, I get to bring my skills, knowledge, and passion to different communities, constantly learning and growing along the way.
A Life-Altering Loss That Reignited My Purpose
My journey into holistic health didn’t start overnight. In fact, it began in 2019—before COVID changed the world. I had already developed a deep curiosity about how nutrition, lifestyle, and natural medicine could support the body’s ability to heal. I was so passionate about this that I even enrolled in **naturopathic medical school, in Tempe, AZ to become a Naturopathic Physician. However, by my second year, I realized that my true path was not in naturopathic medicine but in blending holistic principles with traditional healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner (NP). I made the decision to pivot, believing that becoming an APRN would allow me to bridge both worlds in a meaningful way.
And then, over the past year, my mom’s passing reignited something even deeper within me. Losing her to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) made me reflect on everything I had learned about whole-body healing and what I wish I had known sooner. It fueled my desire to go beyond just treating symptoms and instead educate, empower, and guide people toward true wellness.
Her passing was a painful reminder of why I started this journey in the first place, and it’s what pushes me now to share my knowledge even more—to help others take control of their health before illness takes control of them.

The Next Chapter: Becoming an APRN & A Holistic Health Advocate
Currently, I’m in school to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), because I know that blending my clinical experience with a deeper understanding of whole-body healing is the future of healthcare.
Too many people place their faith entirely in doctors, nurses, and medications, believing that their health is out of their control. And while we, as healthcare professionals, are here to guide, educate, and support—you are the one in charge of your health. You hold the power.
And it all starts with something so simple yet so profound: the fork 🍴.
Your food choices, your lifestyle habits, your mindset—they are the foundation of your well-being.
What you eat, how you move, how you think, and how you manage stress—these are the things that truly determine health and longevity.
